It has been over four months since my last post and a lot of things have happened! I successfully finished the PMC Wellesley to Bourne route. 90 miles total thanks to being a lemming and following other riders who were lost...no big deal now but at the time ........! I was PR Princess with articles in the Boston Herald, The Hudson Sun and a story on WBZ TV Channel 4. It is amazing how generous that people can be. It is truly humbling.I am in the Hedgehog Pathway Inhibitor Clinical Trial, after a very scary start. Bad CT scan, but PET scan was good, so I was given the OK. I just started my third month last week. I cannot tell whether or not I am receiving the actual drug, GDC0449, and I will not know until I relapse. I love my research Doc and clinical coordinator. So for now, it's onward and upward! Keeping my drug diary by bedside!
It was back to school on August 31st! I am sooo exhausted and it is October 12th. I have not been on my bike for the past three weeks. Those of you that know me will know how this is so not me, but I am exhausted. Time for bed...5am comes early!
