It's OVAH!

Well, I did it! In record time as well! Arrival time in Bourne was 3:40...the earliest for me evva!
Thanks in part to a most beautiful day and the constant companionship of our team leader, Lisa!

Riding with Lisa is like being on the road with a rock star ...everyone screaming out her name! A further testament to the many lives that she touches everyday. It was amazing ride. It always is!

P.S. I did have one person ask, "Is Deb riding?' when she saw my reindeer shirt. I was quick to respond, "Yes I am!" Now I know how Lisa must feel.....well maybe just a teeny bit!
Now it's time to ride for fun!

Thanks everyone...I will keep blogging! CT scans next week! The beat goes on......

TEENAGERS!

Yes, only four days to go until the "painfest" begins, but alas, I have been busy hosting Bridget's friends, Kristen and Lizzy. See how lovely they keep their surroundings! Lots o fun :)

I have only been on my bike about about three times for about 12-14 miles a ride since last Thursday and I have not been on it at all since Saturday.

Not feeling too well, physically and my IT Band is killing me! That pain doesn't usually show up until the last seven miles of the PMC and forces me to stop at the last rest stop which everyone else takes pride in riding right on by! Not me! I am limping around with a bag of ice tied to my knee, my feet and hands are usually numb and I am done. But I get up and limp over the finish to all the fanfare...which is the only thing that keeps me going at this point...I am looking forward to that moment! The FINISH! Especially now that I have a ride home!
One more short ride and then it's HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!
